MayAir, based in Cancun International Airport, offers transport throughout the Yucatan peninsula.

The company began operations in 1994, as a regional low-cost airline; since 2008 MayAir has offered a shuttle service between Cancun and Cozumel, with 6 daily flights.
It operates aircraft with the following passenger capacities: 5, 9, 19 y 36, and since February of 2009, MayAir forms part of Lomas Travel, an agency established in 1981.
This alliance took place as a result of the signing of an agreement by the governments of the countries that form part of the Maya World: Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico, to take advantage of the new possibilities with regard to the connectivity between the airports in the aformentioned countries.
