Aeromar calls itself ' Mexico’s executive airline;' founded in 1987, the airline now offers over 600 flights per week.

The ATR-42 aircraft is the form of transport operated by Aeromar and in 1995, the company became the global launch carrier of the aircraft produced by the Franco-Italian manufacturer.

Initially its operational base was the International Airport of Toluca , in the State of Mexico, from where its inaugural flight left on November 5, 1987., destination: the port of Acapulco.

By 1988, with a fleet of just three ATR-42 aircraft, the company offered 170 weekly flights to seven destinations, thus becoming the leading regional and feeder carrier in Mexico City's International Airport - also known as the AICM. This airport is its headquarters since 1989.

An interesting detail with this company is a deal with the car-rental company Hertz,
whereby on showing the Aeromar boarding pass you obtain a day's free use of a car in the following cities: Acapulco, Lazaro Cardenas, Mexico City, Minatitlan, Queretaro, San Luis Potosi, Poza Rica and Villahermosa (Check availability).

The company offers scheduled passenger flights; charters; cargo, mail and parcels; both nationally and internationally.
