The Airport of San Cristobal de las Casas, the 'Corazon de María' - Heart of Maria - offers services between 09:00 & 18:00 hours and the largest airoplane it can accept is the DC9-32.

The 'Corazon de María' is located 18 kms from the city of San Cristobal de las Casas, in the southern State of Chiapas.

Since 1988 it has been part of the ASA Airport Network; it has a total surface area of 165 hectares that house a general aviation platform of 6,000 sq. mts. (3 positions) and a runway of 2.6 kms.

Between 2001 & 2005, the Operations Administration of ASA carried out a rehabilitation program for the operational areas of its airport network, in the case of San Cristobal de las Casas Airport there was an intense remodelling of its runway and platform.

Other works included environmental improvement (water treatment plant, separation of networks and residual deposit) and improvement to access roads (signals, construction of ramps and bathroom facility improvements), among others things.

The parking facilities offer spaces for up to 45 vehicles.

In 2006, this airport received 955 passengers and carried out 365 operations.
