The National Airport of Tamuin is part of the ASA Airport Network; offers services between 07:00 & 19:00 hours and can recieve planes up to the size of the King - Air.
This airport was incorporated into the ASA Network in 1965. Its surface area is 130 hectares, approximately, and the commercial aviation platform covers 3,000 m2 while the general aviation platform covers 4,292 m2; they offer 1 & 12 positions, respectively.
As part of the improvements program carried out between 2001 and 2005 by the ASA Network, this airport was totally rehabilitated in 2005 and included the installation of horizontal signalling for the runway, taxiways and platform.
In 2006, the airport registered 1,359 operations and handled 2,549 passengers.
Offers parking for up to 17 vehicles.
