The International Airport of Los Cabos is the most important of the three international airports in the area and is classified as the seventh most important of the country.

In 2005, the airport received a total of 2,466,733 passengers, of which 431,724 were Mexicans and 2,035,009 international visitors, according to statistics published by the airport operator, Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP).

The official name of the airport is "Los Cabos," and it lies 13 kilometers from the city, a 20-minute bus ride.
