The National Airport of Cuernavaca, General Mariano Matamoros, operates officially between 07:00 and 19:00 hours; the largest airplane it can receive is the B-737-300.

The airport of Cuernavaca, capital city of the State of Morelos, is classified as national, category VI, and is located just 16 kms. from the city.

In 2006, the airport reported 10,299 operations and received 33,209 passengers, after the remodelling of the runway, taxiways and platform, between 2001 and 2005, among other improvement works.

It forms part of the Airport Network of Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares (ASA), to which it was incorporated in 1992; it covers an area of approximately 110 hectares.

Its commercial platform is 21,180 m2 and offers 3 positions and, for general aviation, the platform covers 13,400 m2 and offers 15 positions; both have an asphalt surface.

The airport also offers parking for 77 vehicles and terrestrial transport in the form of taxis.
